Super Mario Sisters | 2009

About: “Super Mario Sisters” was one of my first cosplay group experiences, created for a small anime expo Minneapolis. Ashley Hay, Stephanie, and I sewed the outfits from a basic pattern we found at Joann Fabrics, going for a kawaii take on the plumber siblings. Later I would modify the outfit to be pinup-inspired for the 2012 Cosplay for a Cause calendar. We shot the photos in an arcade and a grungy basement for a fun contrast.
