Rorschach | Watchmen | 2014

About: Reading Watchmen was one of my earliest and favorite comic book memories, and when looking for some unique SDCC cosplay options, I decided to opt for Rorschach’s grimy but iconic ensemble. All the outfit pieces were thrifted from various secondhand shops – the coolest part of the costume couldn’t be captured in photos. My mask was heat-activated, making the shapes on the mask change with my breath. I had a great time with and without the mask on, but unfortunately didn’t wind up with a ton of photos of the ensemble. I’ll have to wear it again some day!
