About: This photo set squeaks into my cosplay portfolio primarily because the shot above is often mistaken for a Carmen Sandiego cosplay. The resemblance is entirely coincidental – the shoot was an exploration of historical costumes, but there was certainty lots of play involved! The concept came about after I was gifted several authentic hats dating from the 1920s, and I wanted to use them as centerpieces in a dedicated photoshoot. I styled the outfits, but everything really came together with the fantastic makeup & hair team. Oskar and Crista recreated iconic looks from the period, captured in simple but stunning shots from Black Ops Studios.
