Teknique | Fortnite | 2018

About: I’m a mega Fortnite fan, and Teknique always stood out to me as one of the coolest original characters in the early roster. I whipped this up for Icon CGC in Johannesburg, wanting something cute and comfortable to balance out the more complex costume lineup. Most the costume was constructed from found materials I customized and painted, with the backpack and harvesting tool taking the most time. We had fun scouting and shooting with colorful scenery near the convention. A new experience, I was mostly recognized by younger convention attendees, who loved seeing a Fortnite character in real life!
